AIT organized a seminar on Promoting the Truth about Azerbaijan in the World

On June 13, 2019, Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) organized a seminar on Promoting the Truth about Azerbaijan in the World by Emin Rustamov, Co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Italy Youth Association (AIYA), PhD researcher in Political Sciences and European History at Sapienza University of Rome.

Associate Professor Ilkin Alimuradov welcomed the participants and noted that the Institute organizes workshops, roundtables and meetings on various subjects to develop students’ world outlook and intellectual level, enrich their spiritual world, involve them in academic researches, strengthen their patriotic feelings, social responsibility and self-expression skills. Emphasizing the importance of the topic, Ilkin Alimuradov stressed that the Institute attaches great importance to the quality of education and strives for the effective organization of students’ social life.

Emin Rustamov, Co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Italy Youth Association (AIYA), PhD researcher in Political Sciences and European History at Sapienza University of Rome, delivered a presentation on Promoting the Truth about Azerbaijan in the World and informed the participants about AIYA’s activities. Outlining the activities of the organization, he stressed that the primary goal of the organization is to promote the country and introduce the local and world community to the facts of Garabagh.

Emin Rustamov outlined the work implemented to improve the activity of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Italy. He stressed the importance of promotion of the country by young people studying abroad. He said that citizens should be loyal to their state and people. Emin Rustamov noted the responsibility and duties of the students studying abroad and urged them to properly promote their country in social media, in their everyday life and participate actively in the events of state importance.

The seminar continued with interesting discussions.
