1. General provisions
1.1. The Student Youth Organization of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) is guided by the common interests of youth and the voluntary principles of the Youth Student Organization (hereinafter referred to as the Organization) to increase their activity in the public life of the educational institution, protect their rights, interests, leisure time, intellectual development, as well as for building close relationships between groups and faculties.
1.2. The organization operates under the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions, orders and recommendations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Charter of the Institute and this Regulation.
1.3. The organization operates in interaction with government agencies, non-governmental organizations and international organizations to achieve effective solutions to educational and student issues.
1.4. The organization is an independent student youth organization based on the common interests of the Institute students and the principles of voluntarism.
2. The organization's main goals and objectives
2.1. The main objective of the organization is to represent and defend the interests of students in the implementation of state youth policy and ensure their active participation in the socio-political, cultural, social and economic life of the republic.
2.2. The main objectives of the organization are:
2.2.1. Implementation of the solution to student’ social problems;
2.2.2. Enlightenment among students;
2.2.3. Efficient organization of students’ leisure time;
2.2.4. Ensuring students' rights;
2.2.5. Ensuring participation of talented and creative students in contests, competitions, exhibitions and festivals held within and outside the Republic;
2.2.6. Carrying out preventive measures against drug addiction, alcoholism, criminality and other negative tendencies among students;
2.2.7. Organizing conferences, seminars, festivals, forums, meetings, exhibitions, actions, roundtables, scientific conferences, training courses, mass media campaigns, discussion clubs, debates, meetings with participation of students to ensure their interests, tendencies and intellectual development;
2.2.8. Publishing newspapers and journals to provide information on student and youth events, as well as information on the events in the socio-political, socio-economic and cultural life of the republic;
2.2.9. Examining students’ problems and bringing them to the Academic Council for making relevant decisions;
2.2.10. Implementing other tasks that are not prohibited by law.
