AIT holds a meeting on new academic year
Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) held a meeting on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year.
Associate Professor Agil Shirinov, Rector of AIT congratulated the institute staff on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year and wished them success in their work. The Rector spoke about the upcoming goals and objectives.
The rector emphasized that the enrollment plans for both majors are fully met for the 2024/2025 academic year, with an increase in admission scores current year. He noted that applicants for the Islamic Studies major demonstrated a high level of knowledge during the admission process. The Rector expressed confidence that these students will become well-informed, educated professionals who will serve their country and its people effectively in the future.
A. Shirinov then highlighted the conditions available to students at the institute. He emphasized that during the teaching process as well as in extracurricular activities, educators should diligently work to enhance students' education and scientific potential, committing their skills to develop them into knowledgeable, highly qualified professionals.
In addition, the faculty members of the Institute examined the arrangements for the upcoming national scientific-practical conference entitled "Modern Religious Education Models in the Context of Traditions and Global Challenges," which is set to take place on October 16, 2024.
