AIT rector meets with the students attending professional practice training

Jeyhun Mammadov, Rector of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT), met with students, who will attend academic and professional practice training.

The Rector emphasized that academic professional practice training is a crucial stage in students’ life. Wishing students success, the Rector recommended them to be responsible and benefit from the conditions created.

Stating that knowledge and skills are always of greater importance for young people’s career development, the Rector said that young people should think about effective activities from their student years.

J.Mammadov noted that the Institute has a great responsibility before the society and state. Maintaining and developing a highly religious and spiritual environment based on the historical traditions of the Azerbaijani people and logical consequence of the state policy are the priority tasks ahead of the Institute.

Mirniyaz Mursalov, Dean of the Faculty of Theology, gave information about the organization of academic and professional practice training. He said that professional practice training is of great importance for students. M.Mursalov also mentioned the essence of the training, its rules and the skills acquired by students.

Undergraduate students of the Institute will attend teaching practice training, while graduate students will be involved in research practice training. The practice trainings will be held from February 17 to April 13.

The meeting also discussed the effective organization and improvement of the quality of teaching practice training and presented suggestions.
