Interviews for Islamic Studies major have started at AIT

On July 27 - August 2, 2019, interviews for the applicants who want to study BA degree in Islamic Studies at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) have started. The interview will last from July 27 to August 2.

It should be noted that the Religious and Psychological Commission established by the State Examination Center evaluates applicants’ general world outlook, psychological condition, creative thinking and communication skills.

Minimum score for the participation in the interview is 150. Totally, 131 applicants have been registered for the interviews. The Religious and Psychological Commission includes experts, psychologists, officials of the State Committee on Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute staff.

The exam started on July 27, 2019 at 09:00 and will continue till August 2 at the administrative building of the former faculty of Theology of Baku State University at Ahmad Jamil, 41 / A.

Education at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology is tuition-free. AIT uses modern educational standards and relevant international experience to preserve religious and spiritual environment based on the historical traditions of the Azerbaijani people and logical consequence of the state policy and train highly qualified religious specialists. Along with Islam, systems of belief, prayer and moral of the other world religions as well as philosophy, sociology, psychology, multiculturalism and other social sciences are taught at the Institute.
