Secretary General of HCHF visits AIT
Mohamed Abdul-Salam, Secretary General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF), visited Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT).
AIT rector Agil Shirinov welcomed the guest and said he was delighted to see him at the institute again.
Agil Shirinov expressed his interest in developing collaboration with the organization noting that the Republic of Azerbaijan places a high value on the development of intercultural, interreligious, and interethnic realtions.
Secretary General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity Mohamed Abdul-Salam, for his part, expressed satisfaction with his visit to our country and acquaintance with the favorable conditions created for the development of intercultural relations.
The meeting between the authorized representatives of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology and the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity concluded with preliminary agreements on collaborative cooperation to contribute to the development of intercultural and interreligious relations.
Following that, Mohamed Abdul-Salam, Secretary General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, met with AIT workers. Mohamed Abdul-Salam provided information about the establishment of the organization he represents, its effective activities and projects. He stated that the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity strives to implement numerous programs to fulfill its goals of mutual respect amongst religions and civilizations, peaceful coexistence, universal brotherhood, and common human values.
The event continued in the framework of discussion with AIT teachers.
At the end of the meeting, Agil Shirinov expressed his gratitude to Secretary General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, Mohamed Abdul-Salam, for visiting Azerbaijan Institute of theology and expressed his willingness to collaborate with the institute and support its development.
In turn, Mohamed Abdul-Salam, Secretary General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, expressed his heartfelt thanks for the sincere attitude, hospitality and fruitful exchange of views.
