July 2019 issue of the newspaper Theologian has been published
Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) has published July 2019 issue of the newspaper Theologian.
The first page of the newspaper presents President Ilham Aliyev’s address to the attendees of the 2nd International Symposium on Islamic Civilization in Caucasia and the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva’s article entitled “National Leader Heydar Aliyev has faithfully served his people and homeland all his life”.
The second and third pages of the publication reflect the articles dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s coming to power entitled “50 years equal to century” by AIT rector Jeyhun Mammadov and “Immortal leader” by Fidan Yusifova, Head of the Department of Graduate Studies.
The fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh pages of the newspaper contain articles about the 2nd International Symposium on Islamic Civilization in the Caucasus.
The July issue presents the articles “The 50th Anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s coming to Political Power”, “Azerbaijan Institute of Theology published a book entitled Heydar Aliyev’s quotes by the decision of the Academic Council”, “Media representatives were awarded on the occassin of National Press Day”, “AIT held a training on Social Responsibility and Ethical Behavior in the Workplace”, “June 2019 issue of the newspaper Theologian has been published”, “AIT rector receives Friend of Students social award”, “Attitude of Modern German Society to Islam”, “The delegation of the Georgian Muslims Office at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology”, “AIT students are attending the summer school in Bursa”, “Azerbaijan Institute of Theology held the first master’s thesis defense”, “AIT instructors attended the international symposium”, “AIT hosted the next meeting of the founding organization of NAP” and “Russian journal Minbar published an article about Azerbaijan”.
The article entitled “Azerbaijan Institute of Theology in the regions” reflects the Institute’s promotional events in the regions of Azerbaijan with the aim of attracting high-level and intellectual students for the 2019-2020 academic year. The article “Azerbaijan Institute of Theology in Ismayilli” contains detailed information about the meeting.
The newspaper also presents the articles entitled “My heart throbs when I remember my student years”, “The tradition of tolerance in Islam: historical aspects”, “What does the feeling of religion give to individuals and society?”, “Historical heritage of Azerbaijan: Albanian temples in Gakh region”, “Martyr journalists” and “Similar and different characteristics of Azerbaijani national clothing by regions”.
The primary goal of the newspaper is to inform public about the Institute activities, implemented projects, increase students’ patriotic feelings, their intellectual level and contribute to the religious awareness in the country.
