The catalogue of the Institute of Theology has been published in foreign languages

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) has published a catalogue reflecting the history, mission, goals and other activity areas of the Institute. Published in Russian, English and Arabic, the 84-page catalogue contains detailed information and photos reflecting the Institute life.

The catalogue contains Preface, “Why AIT?”, “History”, “Our Mission”, “Our goal”, “Our core values”, “Academic calendar”, “Academic Policy”, “Major Programs”, “Faculty of Theology”, “Divisions and Departments”, “International Relations and Cooperation”, “Student Support System”, “Student Life” and other sections. AIT Rector Jeyhun Mammadov notes in the Preface that there is a great need for professionals who can convey religious knowledge adequately, have a profound knowledge, high intelligence, rich world outlook and lead younger generation.

J.Mammadov further notes that theology is not only a road that leads to the understanding of one’s historical and cultural roots. It is also a necessary field that teaches respect and tolerance for the moral values of people belonging to other faiths.

It should be noted that the Institute publishes the Journal of Religious Studies presenting the articles of researchers and scholars in the religious field in our country and around the world. Along with this, brochures and booklets reflecting the history, mission, goals and other activity areas of the Institute as well as “Regulations, Rules, Guidelines and Information” introducing regulations, rules and information on the management, structure, academic activity, levels and organization of training and internal discipline have been published in Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Arabic.

The Institue also publishes the newspaper Theologian and the journal Theology to inform the public about the activities of the Institute, its projects, strengthen the patriotic spirit in young people, enrich their intellectual level and world outlook, and contribute to religious education in our country.
