The next visit of AIT is to Gazakh district

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology continues its promotional events in the regions of Azerbaijan with the aim of attracting high-level and intellectual students for the 2019-2020 academic year. The next visit of the Institute staff was to Gazakh district.

The AIT team first visited Heydar Aliyev’s monument and paid tribute to the memory of the national leader laying flowers at the monument.

The materials and video reflecting the social activities of AIT were demonstrated for university applicants, school teachers and government officials who participated in the meeting held in Gazakh Youth Center.

Rajab Babashov, Head of the Executive Power in Gazakh, mentioned President Ilham Aliyev’s care and attention to education in the country. He noted that Heydar Aliyev has incomparable services in the development of Azerbaijan science and education. He also noted that President Ilham Aliyev successfully pursues his education policy focusing on the development of it.

AIT rector Jeyhun Mammadov emphasized that President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues the development of traditions of high values and norms inherited from Heydar Aliyev. The state programs performed with the special attention by the President are aimed at the achievement of expected outcomes and development of education system.

Informing meeting participants about the Institute, Jeyhun Mammadov noted that the Institute was founded by President Ilham Aliyev’s Decree dated February 9, 2018. It was established to train high-level specialists for the organization of religious activities in the country and the preservation and development of religious and moral environment based on the historical traditions of the Azerbaijani people and the logical result of the state policy. Jeyhun Mammadov also mentioned student support system and job opportunities for graduates.

Mirniyaz Mursalov, Dean of the Faculty of Theology, informed the participants about the subjects taught in the Institute. Mirniyaz Mursalov mentioned the conditions based on transparent student teacher relations. He noted that the Institute has a potential to provide students with quality education. He added that the lectures are conducted by the scholars who have Arabic and English language skills and have profound knowledge in their field.

Fidan Yusifova, Head of the Department of Graduate Studies at AIT, delivered a presentation on admission rules to the Institute and existing major programs. She noted that each student would benefit from the necessary conditions, tuition-free education and other privileges created by the state. Ms. Yusifova said students will be provided with free uniforms, food, foreign language courses and other advantages.
