AIT instructor’s articles have been published in impact factor journals

Two articles by Associate Professor Elnura Azizova, Head of the Department of Religious Stuides at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT), have been published in impact factor journals of Sivas Cumhuriyet University Journal of Faculty of Theology and Journal of Divinity Faculty of Hitit University.

The article “The Unity of Opposites: The Image of the Turks and the Germans According to the Records of British War Prisoners after the Siege of Kut al-Amara” reflects overemphasized expressions about both sides’ hurt stemming from their defeat.

The article “Constants and Variables in the Reconstruction Process of National History: Mutual Analysis of Ottoman Image in pre and post-independence Period of Azerbaijan History (within the framework of history textbooks)” compares the attitude of Soviet and independent Azerbaijan towards the Ottoman empire.

Both journals publish articles covering all fields of theology such as history of Islam, history of religions, sociology of religion, psychology of religion and others. Sivas Cumhuriyet University Journal of Faculty of Theology is included in the Scopus and Web of Science. Journal of Divinity Faculty of Hitit University is included in Web of Science Core Collection.

AIT attaches specific importance to researches in theology. To that end, the instructors of the Institute attend international conferences held in different countries of the world and publish articles, books and textbooks related to their field.
