AIT students at Bursa Uludag University

The summer school organized in Bursa city of Turkey for students of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) continues.

The next day of the summer school students visited Theology faculty of Bursa Uludag University and familarized themselves with the faculty library and classrooms. Bilal Kemikli, Dean of the Faculty met with the students and expressed his satisfaction with their visit.

B. Kemikli discussed different topics with the students and mentioned the contribution of Azerbaijani scientists to world science. Emphasizing the name of Seyid Yahya Bakuvi, the Dean said that these great personalities are an example for every young man. “If you want to become a highly qualified specialist, you must first gain knowledge about the great personalities in the history of your homeland,” B.Kemikli recommended to students.

The parties discussed the establishment of cooperation between the faculties of Theology of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology and Uludag University in Bursa. The parties exchanged views on mutual educational and academic relations, long-term cooperation, familiarization with the experience in the educational process, study of the existing innovations in this area and development of cultural relations.

It should be noted that students of theological faculties from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan participate in the summer school together with the students of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology. The summer school is of great importance from the aspect of increasing students’ knowledge and skills, sharing experiences, expanding friendly relations, and promoting tolerant and multicultural environment in the country.

One of the primary goal of the Institute is to educate religious figures who tolerate all confessions and doctrines with profound knowledge about Islam and other world religions. It should be noted that AIT establishes cooperation with various educational institutions around the world.
