AIT organized a Hadith competition

Student Scientific Society (SSS) at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) organized a Hadith competition for students.

The competititon was attended by the students of AIT faculty of Theology. The jury included Agil Shirinov, Vice-rector on Science and Innovations; PhD Ahmed Niyazov, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies and Vugar Samadov, instructor of AIT.

The event started with performance of national anthem of Azerbaijan. Agil Shirinov, Vice-rector on Science and Innovations, welcomed the event participants and noted that the preparation of specialists with profound religious and secular knowledge is one of the primary goals of AIT. The Institute mobilizes all its potential to reach these goals and tries to justify the confidence.

Agil Shirinov noted that such competitions improve knowledge and world-outlook of students and enable them to gain experience for expressing their thoughts effectively.

Mirniyaz Mursalov, Dean of the Faculty of Theology, emphasized that the competition enables students to gain experience and advised students to study constantly to become professionals in their field. Competitions play a special role for demonstrating talents and skills.

Vugar Samadov informed the participants about the competition rules and wished success to them.

The winners were selected based on the assessment of the jury. The winners are:
First place: Isgandar Isgandarov
Second place: Nabi Mammadov
Third place: Tofig Feyzullayev

At the end of the event, the awards and certificates were presented to the winners and participants.

AIT previously organized competitions on I Know My History dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and Guran Reading to improve the intellectual level of students, enrich their spiritual world, strengthen their patriotic feelings, teach social responsibility skills and develop their self-expression skills.
