Students of Aliabad Islamic College of Zagatala visited AIT

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) has announced Open Door Days from April 22 to May 22 for applicants who will apply for the 3rd major group.

Students of the Aliabad Islamic College of Zagatala visited AIT within the framework of the Open Door Days.

Mirniyaz Mursalov, Dean of the Faculty of Theology welcomed the guests and gave detailed information about the university. He noted that Azerbaijan Institute of Theology was established by President Ilham Aliyev’s Decree dated February 9, 2018.

Mentioning the necessary conditions created in the Institute, M.Mursalov informed the participants about student support system. He noted that the education is tuition-free, and students are provided with free textbooks and uniforms.

Fidan Yusifova, Head of the Department of Graduate Studies at AIT, informed college students about the admission rules. She noted that the Institute admits students to Masters and Doctoral levels as well. Ms. Yusifova mentioned the opportunities for the study of different languages, scholarship programs, educational opportunities abroad, international relations of the Institute, students’ social life, summer and winter schools.

Ahmed Niyazov, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies, spoke about the existing major programs. He noted that the Institute is preparing students for Religious and Islamic Studies majors. Ahmed Niyazov also informed the guests about the organization of educational process in the Institute and job opportunities for graduates.

At the end of the meeting, students familiarized themselves with the Institute and visited the library and classrooms.

Open Door Days will last till May 22.
