AIT holds next educational and promotional event

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) continues to hold educational and promotional events for high school students in various regions of the republic to inform the public about the institute activities and educational opportunities as well as to attract highly intelligent students for the 2023-2024 academic year. The first visit was to the Garadagh region.

The last visit of the institute was to Gusar region. Applicants, school teachers, representatives of relevant state institutions, and religious figures attended the event.

Kamala Sadygova, Director of comprehensive secondary school No. 6 in Gusar city, greeted the event participants with an introductory speech. K. Sadygova spoke about the importance of teaching quality at a higher educational institution, emphasizing that the Institute of Theology pays special attention to these factors.

In his speech, Agil Shirinov, Rector of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, stated that the state-religion relations are at a high level in the country, and that President Mr. Ilham Aliyev places a high value on the development of this field and the protection of national and moral values. He stated that a successful religious policy has resulted in the protection and development of a tolerant and multicultural environment in our society.

The rector then provided detailed information about the Institute goals and objectives. He stated that the institute is conducting purposeful training for the young people who graduate from the institute to grow up as highly qualified specialists who protect our country from foreign influences, have a sound religious mind, and love their homeland and people.

A. Shirinov then discussed the various specialties and subjects offered at the higher educational institution. The rector stated that the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology has created full conditions for the training of highly qualified specialists, and that the education is tuition-free. He stated that accepted applicants will not only receive tuition-free education, but also free textbooks and meals.

Emin Orujov, Assistant to the rector, E. Orucov discussed opportunities to learn foreign languages, scholarship programs, studying abroad, and student social lives in detail.
