Delegation of AIT discusses cooperation opportunities with Turkish universities

Mubariz Jamalov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Teaching Technologies at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) and Kovsar Tagiyev, Dean of the Faculty of Theology visited Turkey to study e-learning systems of Turkish universities.

During the visit to Turkey, AIT represeantatives familiarized themselves both visually and theoretically with the e-learning system of Istanbul, Marmara, 29 Mayis universities in Istanbul; Ankara University in Ankara; Sivas, Seljuk and Necmeddin Erbakan universities in Konya.

AIT representatives discussed the implementation of research work based on mutually beneficial cooperation between universities, joint projects, mutual transfer of academic information on the teaching method, experience and researches, joint conferences and roundtables, implementation of mutual academic visits for faculty and doctoral students as well as student exchanges and other issues.

AIT attaches specific importance to international relations and the establishment of cooperation with foreign educational institutions. The visit aimed to use the experience of Turkish higher education institutions along with other leading universities in the world to improve the quality of higher education, expand the relations between universities and study the achievements gained in the field of electronic education.
