Winter exam session begins at AIT
The winter exam session of the fall semester for bachelor and master degree students has started at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT). The four-week session is conducted online, mainly orally, and, if necessary, in writing, through the Microsoft Teams platform, according to the approved exam schedule.
Considering the requirements of the special quarantine regime and the realities of distance learning, the necessary conditions have been created for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the examination session.
It should be noted that to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the educational process is carried out remotely as of November 2, 2020. The current teaching process at AIT is conducted online through the Microsoft Teams platform in accordance with the recommendation of the Ministry of Education. Several compromises are applied to encourage students’ participation in the exams.
An operational headquarters has been established to organize the examination session in accordance with the existing rules, compile questions, ensure full transparency and objectivity in the assessment of students' knowledge, investigate and resolve dissatisfaction that may arise during the session. The headquarters will operate remotely in accordance with the existing conditions. Incoming e-applications and complaints will be promptly investigated and necessary measures will be taken as soon as possible.
