For the applicants who want to study Islamic Studies

Applicants who passed the exam for Islamic Stuides in the third major group can register on the website of the State Examination Center from July 20 to July 24.

The registered applicants will participate in the interview based on the results of their test exams (applicants whose total score is 150 and the minimum score in the second stage is no less than 50, can participate in the interview).

Applicants who want to study in Islamic Studies major created for the preparation of highly qualified specialists will be interviewed by the Religious Psychological Commission for the examination of their world outlook and interests in this field. The Psychological Commission has been established by the State Examination Center and includes experts, psychologists, officials of the State Committee on Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute staff. The interview will examine applicants’ psychological condition and creative thinking through special methodology. It will evaluate applicants’ general world outlook, religious knowledge, eligibility for Islamic Studies major, attitude towards building career as religious figures, communication and public speaking skills.

Applicants who want to participate in the interview should register on the website of the State Examination Center (SEC). Registration will be held from 20 to 24 July. The exam will start on July 27 at 09:00 and will continue till August 2 at the administrative building of the former faculty of Theology of Baku State University at Ahmad Jamil, 41 / A.

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology was established according to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s decree dated February 9, 2018 under the subordination of the State Committee on Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
